A-Gas

Keeping cool through changing times

A-Gas are going from strength to strength following the recent acquisition of Refrigerant Products Ltd. They’ve recently announced an exciting move for RPL from Manchester to their larger, more modern, purpose built site in Portbury in Bristol, from where they can extend numerous benefits to the new division.

As a result, A-Gas now has a distinct advantage over its competitors and is in a unique position to provide some of the most advanced drop-in solutions in today’s market, further establishing the company as one of the strongest and most innovative refrigerant gas suppliers in the world.

With the minimum of fuss, cost and energy for the end-user, their outstanding new RS series of gases developed by RPL have been designed to outperform all previous drop-in solutions and are able to offer zero ozone depletion potential ensuring companies comply with forthcoming European regulations and the switch to ODP products.

The gases in the RS series are all easy to use and are equally suitable replacements for refrigeration and airconditioning systems. They require no equipment or oil changes, work with new and existing equipment and will leave users meeting Montreal and Kyoto environmental protocol.

They’re non-flammable, energy efficient and have lower discharge temperatures than the exiting CFC and HFCF gases. In fact they’re so much more advanced, they could even save you money in the long term.

“QUOTE TO BE INSERTED HERE,” says AGI chief executive John Rutley, who is confident the range will serve to bridge industry needs and the eventual phase-out of ozone depleting gases in 2009.

RS-44 is the premier product in the series and is the ideal solution to the inevitable phase-out of the widely-used R-22 gas. The rest of the series has been designed to outperform and take over from R12, R502 and other more niche fluids.

Support and more information will be available in the build-up to the phase-out of virgin R22 in the next four years. And, whilst switching will be as simple as putting petrol in your car, A-Gas clients can rest assured they’ll receive all the practical help and information they’ll need to make the necessary changes.
